Vinyl pavilions are impervious to rot, decay, and insect damage and require minimal upkeep. Their exceptional weather resistance makes them reliable in extreme conditions, safeguarding against fading, cracking, or warping from UV exposure.
Wood is prized for its natural beauty, timeless appeal, and ability to be customized in a wide variety of styles and finishes. With proper maintenance–painting, staining, and sealing–wood can also offer exceptional durability.
Permit requirements are based on local town codes and the size of the structure. Generally, smaller gazebos, pavilions, or pergolas under specific square footage may not need a permit. Local codes can be accessed online or from municipal authorities, and some jurisdictions may mandate property line setbacks. We can supply structural drawings to meet these local requirements.
A concrete slab is the most common foundation, but crushed stone, patio stones, and concrete footings can also be used. If your pavilion will not have a floor, you will need a concrete slab or footings.
